Nina Orendain Selected as a Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas’ Women’s Advocacy Awards Honoree
Akin investment management practice attorney Nina Melanie Orendain has been selected as one of two recipients of the Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas’ (Legal Aid’s) Louise Raggio Women’s Legal Advocate award, as part of its 2024 Women’s Advocacy Awards.
The 24th Annual Women’s Advocacy Awards look to honor “lawyers and organizations that have made a difference in the lives of women and children through leadership and commitment to serving them.”
Nina will be among the honorees celebrated at Legal Aid’s annual reception at the Arts District Mansion in Dallas on June 5.
Last year, Nina won the inaugural Chris Reed-Brown Pro Bono Award as part of the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program’s annual pro bono awards program for 2023 (learn more here).
