(Philadelphia) – Akin Gump intellectual property partner Rubén Muñoz has been named a recipient of this year’s Philadelphia Business Journal Best of the Bar Awards.

Mr. Muñoz was the sole person recognized in the Intellectual Property Litigation (patent, trademark, copyright) category.

The Best of the Bar Awards honor local lawyers “who within the last 12 months have distinguished themselves in their practice specialties.”

All of this year’s awardees will be featured in a special publication of the Business Journal on October 29 and recognized at an event the previous evening at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia.
