Akin Gump international trade partner Wynn Segall has been interviewed by China Global Television Network for a segment on President Trump’s decision not to certify the Iran nuclear deal, which lifted sanctions in exchange for Tehran curbing its nuclear program. The move is seen as a big concern for the business community, as it awaits a decision by Congress on whether to impose new sanctions at the end of a 60-day period.

Segall agrees, saying that, while no one knows what Congress will do, “it would be premature for [companies] to conclude that everything gets shut down, but certainly they’re on notice that’s a possibility.”
