International Financial Law Review has published the article “From Moscow to London: Yukos ruling analysed,” written by Mark Dawkins and Mouna Moussaoui, partner and associate, respectively, in the litigation practice at Akin Gump. The article explores the English Commercial Court’s recent decision in a high-profile case involving a Yukos Oil subsidiary, in which Dawkins and Moussaoui advised one of the co-defendants.

Dawkins and Moussaoui write that the decision reaffirms the court’s ability “to conduct a detailed and forensic examination of events that took place 12 years ago in a different country and subject to a different law.”
