The Washington Post, in its article “On high court’s docket: A contentious term,” has quoted Akin Gump Supreme Court and appellate practice head Pratik Shah. The article discusses the divisive issues to be heard during the 2021-22 U.S. Supreme Court term.

According to the Post, the Supreme Court will rule on three of the most politically sensitive policy disputes: “guns, religious rights and possibly race.” Speaking on the SCOTUS docket, Shah said, “The spotlight will be shining brighter on the court this term than perhaps any other since Bush v. Gore.”

Shah recently reviewed the 2021-22 SCOTUS term in a special OnAir with Akin Gump podcast episode, “The 2021 SCOTUS Wrapup and Preview Episode.” He was joined by Supreme Court and appellate senior counsel Aileen McGrath.
