Akin Advises Paine Schwartz Partners in Sale of AgBiTech to BASF Agricultural Solutions

(New York) – Akin advised Paine Schwartz Partners, the largest private equity firm dedicated to sustainable food chain investing, in a definitive agreement to sell its portfolio company AgBiTech, which specializes in biological insect control solutions, to BASF Agricultural Solutions. The transaction is anticipated to close during the first half of 2026, subject to approval by the relevant authorities.
