Akin Gump Named a Winner in Two Categories of China Business Law Awards

(Hong Kong) – Akin Gump has once again been selected as a winner in the “International trade” category as part of China Business Law Journal’s China Business Law Awards 2021. This is the third straight year that the firm has been chosen. Akin Gump was also named a winner in the new “Government and public policy” category, which recognizes a firm’s work advising on various public policy issues and regulatory work across sectors.
According to China Business Law Journal, selections are based on hundreds of nominations received from China-focused corporate counsel and legal professionals around the world. The publication notes that nominations “were considered carefully in combination with other factors, such as each firm’s landmark deals, cases and other notable achievements over the past year.”
Earlier this year, China Business Law Journal named litigation partner Daniel Cohen to its list of the 100 elite lawyers working in a China practice for foreign firms. (Click here to learn more.)
