Akin Gump Scores Two Wins and a Finalist in NLJ Legal Awards

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is proud to share that The National Law Journal, for its Legal Awards 2022, recognized the firm with two wins and an award shortlisting.
Supreme Court and appellate partner Julius Chen was named a DC Rising Star—“lawyers who have wielded influence in their practice areas in the D.C. area and beyond”—and Akin Gump was named to NLJ’s prestigious Appellate Hot List of law firms that have handled exemplary appellate matters.
The firm was also named a finalist in the DC Diversity Initiative category, whose winner will be announced at the awards event in Washington, D.C. on October 20.
This win marks the 13th time in 15 years that Akin Gump has been named to the Appellate Hot List.
