(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump has received two shortlistings for IFLR’s upcoming Sub-Saharan Africa Awards 2020.

The firm is a finalist in the categories Deals of the Year – Capital markets for its work on the $1.45 billion Helios Towers IPO (learn more here) and Teams of the Year – Capital markets.

The awards focus on legal innovation in cross-border transactions and will be announced on September 10.

Akin Gump was recently shortlisted in nine categories for the inaugural IFLR1000 United States Awards (learn more here).
