Akin Gump Signs On to Mindful Business Charter for World Mental Health Day

(London) – In conjunction with World Mental Health Day on October 10, Akin Gump has signed on to the Mindful Business Charter (MBC), a set of best practice, behavioral principles to tackle and reduce avoidable stress in the workplace.
The goal of the MBC is to remove unnecessary sources of stress and promote better mental health and wellbeing. It emphasizes the following four points:
- Openness and respect.
- Smart meetings and e-mails.
- Respecting rest periods.
- Mindful delegation.
The MBC is the result of a collaborative research exercise between leading law firms and banks.
