Akin Strengthens London Technology Transactions Team with Addition of IP Partner Natasha Ahmed

(London) – Akin today announced that Natasha Ahmed has joined the firm as a tech and intellectual property (IP) partner in the London office. Her arrival further strengthens the firm’s growing technology transactions team and expands its capabilities in strategic guidance to clients on the use, acquisition and protection of technology.
Ahmed brings deep experience advising in complex IP and strategic commercial contract arrangements, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies. She joins Akin from Orrick, with prior experience in the industry.

Ahmed’s IP experience adds to Akin’s London technology transactions team—Justin Stock, Stephen Rosen and David Bresnick—enabling the team to deliver integrated advice for IP rich businesses and their investors, cybersecurity, data privacy, antitrust and regulatory matters. Together, the technology transactions team brings deep experience in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), private equity, growth and venture investments and corporate matters across technology-driven sectors positioning Akin to offer seamless, end-to-end solutions in an increasingly complex global market.
