Dallas Business Journal Shortlists Akin Gump-Advised Transaction for Best Real Estate Deals of 2019

(Dallas) – A deal on which Akin Gump advised has been named a finalist for the Dallas Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deals of 2019.

The firm was recognized in the Commercial Property category for advising Civitas Capital Group in the sale of KPMG Plaza at Hall Arts. The deal was among the top 10 office building sales in North Texas last year. Real estate partner John Bain led the team advising Civitas Capital.

Winners of the awards will be announced on April 29.
