James Roome Named Among “Most Influential in Legal Services” by Financial News

(London) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that London restructuring partner James Roome has been named among the 20 Most Influential in Legal Services by Financial News in its inaugural list of legal industry movers and shakers.
The publication notes, “Extensive research was carried out before deciding the final list, including speaking to industry participants, considering business performance, and looking at independent rankings of law firms and individuals.”
The recognition takes into account influence over an individual’s business area, leadership within the sector, performance over the past year and capacity to shape their business or industry in the year ahead.
Mr. Roome’s profile notes that he “has been at the forefront of European restructuring for decades” and, at Akin Gump, has helped build “a pre-eminent practice acting for funds holding positions in some of the largest and most complex cross-border insolvencies and disputes.”
