(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump American Indian law and policy counsel Jenny Patten Magallanes has been named to Law360’s 2021 Native American Editorial Advisory Board. In this role she will help shape Law360’s future coverage around Native American issues.

Ms. Magallanes provides counsel on regulatory and legislative strategies, and assists in litigation and appellate work for Indian tribes and tribal instrumentalities. Among the areas on which she advises are rights-of-way, Indian gaming, tribal law, land use and regulatory issues.

Ms. Magallanes is a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe and was named last year a 40 Under 40 award recipient by The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development. (Click here to learn more.)
