Leana Garipova Elected to Leadership Roles in Houston’s Georgetown Club and Bar Association

(Houston) – Akin Gump corporate associate Leana Garipova, resident in the firm’s Houston office, has been elected to serve as vice president of that city’s Georgetown Club and as a director of the Corporate Counsel Section of the Houston Bar Association.
The Georgetown Club serves alumni of Georgetown University; Ms. Garipova received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and served as managing editor of The Georgetown Law Journal.
The Corporate Counsel Section of the Houston Bar Association comprises both in-house counsel and law firm practitioners. Its purpose is to promote the objectives and standards of professionalism of the Houston Bar Association within the field of corporate law.
