Stuart Sinclair Named to Board of Aspiring Solicitors Foundation

(London) – Akin Gump tax partner Stuart Sinclair has been named to the board of trustees of the Aspiring Solicitors (AS) Foundation.

Launched in 2019, the AS Foundation is a UK social mobility charity that provides financial assistance to aspiring solicitors from low-income backgrounds to help them pursue a career in the law. Akin Gump has been a proud primary supporter of the AS Foundation since its launch. 

Emma Simmonds, partner and chair of Akin Gump’s London Diversity & Inclusion Council, commented: “We are delighted to be involved with the Aspiring Solicitors Foundation, which is a key part of the firm’s diversity and inclusion commitment. The Foundation does vital work in improving access to the legal profession, and Stuart’s appointment to the board of trustees is fantastic news for Akin Gump and the AS Foundation.”
