Alexandra is an associate in the firm’s telecom, media and technology practice. She represents a range of clients in the telecommunications and technology industry, including wireless companies, media content and service providers, industry associations and investors. Alexandra assists clients on a variety of matters before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), including regulatory licensing, rulemaking and compliance.
Prior to joining Akin, Alexandra was a legal intern with the Office of the Bronx District Attorney and the Department of Justice's National Security Division.
Alexandra earned her J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where she was lead article editor for the Catholic University Journal of Law and Technology. During law school, she served as a competing member of the National Mock Trial team and Vice President of Academic Affairs of the Student Bar Association. She was also a founding member and President of the Gender and Sexuality Law Forum. She received a certificate from the Law and Technology Institute.
Before law school, Alexandra worked as a paralegal at another leading global law firm in Denver. She holds a B.S. in Strategic Communications from Texas Christian University.
