  • Advises public companies in connection with ongoing Securities and Exchange Commission reporting obligations.

Analynn Balunda is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. Analynn advises clients on a range of corporate and securities matters, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, Rule 144A offerings and private placement transactions. She also advises companies on mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance matters and securities law compliance.

Prior to joining Akin, Analynn was a corporate associate at another global law firm. She received her J.D. magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law.

  • Represented Rice Acquisition Corporation 3 (NYSE: KRSP) in connection with its $300 million initial public offering.
  • Represented Infinity Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: INR), an upstream oil and natural gas company, in connection with its $265 million initial public offering.
  • Represented Talen Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: TLN), an independent power producer and energy infrastructure company, in its initial listing on the NASDAQ Global Select Market.
  • Represented Blue Owl Capital in connection with a Rule 144A offering of senior secured notes totaling $27.3 billion.
  • Represented Array Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRY) in connection with an upsized Rule 144A offering of convertible senior notes totaling $345 million.
  • Represented Ascent Resources Utica Holdings, LLC in connection with multiple Rule 144A offerings of senior unsecured notes.
  • Represented a consortium of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) and EQT in its $33.4 billion acquisition of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES), the largest supplier of clean energy to corporations globally.
  • Represented TPG Rise Climate Transition Infrastructure in its $2.2 billion take private of Altus Power, Inc. (NYSE: AMPS).
  • Represented GTCR in connection with its $2.7 billion take private of AssetMark Financial Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AMK), a leading wealth management technology platform for financial advisors.
  • Represented EIG Global Energy Partners in its underwritten secondary offering of approximately 6.6 million shares of common stock of Diversified Energy Company PLC (NYSE: DEC).
  • Represented ORIX Corporation in its underwritten secondary offering of 3.7 million shares of common stock of Ormat Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ORA).
  • Represented an independent oil and natural gas producer in connection with multiple “at-the-market” offerings.
  • Represented Olympus Energy LLC, a Blackstone portfolio company, in its $1.8 billion sale of upstream and midstream assets to EQT Corporation (NYSE: EQT).
  • Represented a residential solar and energy services provider and certain of its subsidiaries in connection with their Chapter 11 cases and related SEC filings and communications.
  • Represented a renewable fuels company and certain of its subsidiaries in connection with their Chapter 11 cases and related SEC filings and communications.
