Audrey represents clients in a variety of international trade and finance transactions, leveraging her extensive experience in complex legal and regulatory issues. Prior to joining Akin, Audrey served as Senior Counsel and CFIUS Co-Lead Counsel at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she led a team of lawyers on legal review for the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and provided critical legal advice to senior officials and interagency partners. She also played a key role in developing regulations for the Outbound Investment Security Program, which addresses certain U.S. outbound investments in countries of concern.
Audrey has a strong background in corporate and banking finance, having worked as a senior associate at another leading global law firm. Her experience includes representing private equity sponsors and companies in a wide range of financing matters, including leveraged buyouts, debt securities offerings and debt restructurings.
Audrey earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where she served as articles editor and on the Executive Board of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law. She received her B.A. in political science from Columbia University.
