- Ben is an associate in our corporate practice.
Ben is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. He advises clients on a range of real estate matters with an emphasis on development, investment, leasing and finance. Ben represents developers, private equity, landlords and others through all stages of multi-use and industrial development, including the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements and performing title, survey and other real estate diligence. Ben represents commercial landlords and tenants in lease negotiations of all types including retail, industrial, office and healthcare with an eye towards the cultivation and maintenance of long-term landlord-tenant relationships.
Ben also advises his clients on how to grow and manage their real estate portfolios, including through mergers, acquisitions and consolidations. Ben understands how relevant laws and regulations affect real estate transactions and assists his clients with the development of risk mitigation practices to ensure optimal business outcomes.
Before joining the firm, Ben served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas and then worked in a private real estate practice.
Ben received his J.D. from University of Texas School of Law. He graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in political science and a minor in Japanese, which Ben is fluent in.
