Biography

Benjamin is an associate in our financial restructuring group. He advises on a wide range of cross-border financial restructurings across several industries.

Representative Work
  • Dolphin Drilling: Advising the largest lender on the financial restructuring of Dolphin Drilling ASA (formerly known as Fred. Olsen Energy ASA), an offshore drilling rig company.
  • intu Metrocentre: Advising the ad hoc committee of holders on the restructuring of £485 million in notes issued by intu Metrocentre Finance plc against the intu Metrocentre shopping centre and adjacent retail park in the United Kingdom (U.K.).
  • Noble Group: Advising an ad hoc committee of unsecured creditors on the $3.5 billion financial restructuring of Noble Group, a worldwide commodities supply chain and trading company, most recently in a financial restructuring of Noble’s commodities trading business through security enforcement and the amendment and extension of Noble AssetCo’s notes.
  • Nordic Aviation Capital: Advising the private placement noteholders in relation to a waiver and deferral arrangement implemented through an Irish scheme of arrangement and on the restructuring of more than $6 billion of the group’s debt through a chapter 11 plan.
  • Travelex: Advising the ad hoc bondholder committee of Travelex, a foreign exchange company, in connection with the successful restructuring of the Travelex business through multiple prepack administration sales and the injection of new money.
