Biography
Benjamin is an associate in the financial restructuring practice of the London office.
He advises creditors, companies and directors on a wide range of cross-border financial restructurings, consensual re-financings and workouts across several industries, including energy, infrastructure and retail.
Representative Work
- Thames Water: Counsel to an ad hoc group of creditors holding over £13 billion in the recapitalisation of Thames Water, the UK's largest water company.
- Fortenova: Counsel to Fortenova Group, a food producer and retailer in Croatia , on issues arising from the existence of sanctioned debt and equity holders in its capital structure.
- Consolis Group: Counsel to an ad hoc group of noteholders and lenders on the comprehensive recapitalization of the Consolis Group, a European leader in precast concrete solutions.
- Hurtigruten Group: Counsel to an ad hoc group of senior creditors on the comprehensive restructuring of Hurtigruten Group AS, the Norwegian cruise line and coastal ferry business.
- Noble Group: Advising an ad hoc committee of unsecured creditors on the $3.5 billion financial restructuring of Noble Group, a worldwide commodities supply chain and trading company.
- Nordic Aviation Capital: Advising the private placement noteholders in relation to a waiver and deferralimplemented through an Irish scheme of arrangement and on the restructuring of more than $6 billion of the group’s debt.
- Travelex: Advising the ad hoc bondholder committee of Travelex, a foreign exchange company, in connection with the successful restructuring of the business through prepack administration sales and the injection of new money.
