Blair Campion is an associate in the international trade practice. She advises clients on a wide range of international trade matters related to U.S. economic sanctions and export controls.  She also assists clients with internal investigations concerning U.S. sanctions and export controls, and responses to investigations prompted by executive departments including the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. Department of the Treasury.  Blair additionally advises clients on compliance best practices related to U.S. sanctions, export controls, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, and anticorruption.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Blair worked at another international law firm in its Washington, D.C. and New York City offices.  Blair was a member of the litigation group, focusing on investigations by the Department of Justice, Securities Exchange Commission, and Commodity Futures Trading Commission, compliance with U.S. economic sanctions, and complex commercial disputes.

While attending Georgetown University Law Center, Blair spent a year working at the American Bar Association’s Center for Human Rights focusing on international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and the intersection of business and human rights.

Blair is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the District of Columbia.
