Biography
  • Counsels clients on U.S. law and policy affecting international trade and business.
  • Focuses on client advocacy and compliance on matters before U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other regulatory agencies

Bridget advises on U.S. trade laws and policies, with a particular focus on matters relating to U.S. customs and import control laws spanning the technology, manufacturing, life sciences, aerospace, and retail sectors. Based on her time in the executive and judicial branches of the federal government, Bridget brings an invaluable perspective to helping clients resolve legal and regulatory challenges. Key areas of practice include:

Prior to joining Akin, Bridget served as a law clerk for the Honorable Timothy M. Reif of the U.S. Court of International Trade, as Executive Secretary in the White House Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and as an attorney at the U.S. General Services Administration.
