David is a Senior Practice Attorney and Credit Specialist, bringing extensive experience across high yield bond financings, leveraged finance transactions and complex capital markets and securities matters. He works closely with the Akin finance, financial restructuring and capital solutions practices, leveraging his expertise in documentary analysis across a wide range of financing and liability management transactions.

Prior to joining Akin, David was a Senior Legal Consultant at 9fin and a key member of their documentary analysis team. In that role, David advised clients on high yield bond structures, leveraged loan terms, market developments and contributed to 9fin’s legal content and credit analysis platform.

David has practiced in the New York, London and Paris offices of a leading international law firm on high yield bond offerings, cross-border financings and capital markets transactions for corporate issuers, private equity sponsors and financial institutions. He also served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at a leading investment bank in London, supporting the investment bank’s capital markets and leveraged finance lines of business.
