David is an associate in Akin’s corporate practice. He advises clients on domestic and cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and financing matters.
David was a summer associate and law clerk at Akin in New York, where he supported complex corporate transactions and drafted transaction documents and client updates. Previously, David served as a legal intern at an aerospace company, where he summarized supplier and customer contracts and conducted due diligence for a potential corporate merger. He also worked as a junior analyst at a consulting firm, drafting privacy policies and filing trademark applications.
David earned his J.D./B.C.L. from McGill University Faculty of Law, where he was senior editor for the McGill Journal of Dispute Resolution and co-president of the McGill Arbitration Student Society. He holds a B.Sc. in psychology with minors in economics and political science from McGill University.
