Davis advises clients on a range of corporate matters, including capital markets and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

Prior to joining Akin, Davis was a capital markets associate at another global law firm in Houston, Texas. He also served as an extern to the Honorable Susie Morgan at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Davis received his J.D. cum laude from Tulane University Law School, where he was an articles editor for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and a research assistant to Professor Amy Gajda. He participated in the Tulane VITA Tax Clinic. Davis earned his B.A. cum laude in literature from Rhodes College, where he was a team captain of the men's soccer team and a member of the Southern Athletic Association All-Academic Honor Roll.
