Don brings significant experience counseling clients on the tax and corporate structuring of high-stakes transactions across a diverse range of industries. With a practice focused on advising strategic purchasers, private equity clients and public companies, Don provides guidance on regulatory and compliance matters, governance agreements and cross-border issues.
He has held senior roles at public companies and real estate investment trusts, including serving as general counsel and corporate secretary, where he managed legal and governance matters and prepared organizations for major transitions.
Don earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he served as editor of The Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. Don received an A.B., cum laude, in English and American literature and language from Harvard College. Donald is a frequent speaker on real estate M&A topics and has authored several articles on related legal developments.
