Biography

Licensed to practice in California only and under the supervision of the partners of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Application for admission to the District of Columbia Bar in process.

  • Represents clients in a broad range of complex litigation matters.

Hanna is an associate in the litigation practice, where she advises clients on a range of litigation matters.

She received her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she was staff editor of the Journal of International, Transnational, and Comparative Law. During law school, she held positions as a research assistant and research fellow, a criminal justice and advanced civil rights litigation clinical student, a pro bono student leader for the Tijuana Border Rights Project for Deported Individuals, and an intern and pro bono volunteer for the ACLU of Southern California. Hanna also served as a board member of the National Lawyers Guild and Mental Health Law Society, competed in Moot Court and served as a community fellow for UCI Law, where she received the UCI Law Legacy Award, Pro Bono Student Leadership Award and Pro Bono High Honors Award.

She earned a B.A. in philosophy and studio art from Bates College.

Earlier in her career, she was in talent acquisition for a business automation software company.
