Iris counsels fund managers and sponsors on the formation and operation of private fund vehicles, including private equity funds, credit funds, hedge funds and venture capital funds. She guides clients working across multiple jurisdictions in their distribution agreements and securities filings.

Prior to joining Akin, Iris was an associate in the investment management practice at another global law firm in New York, where she worked on several multibillion-dollar fundraises.

Iris received her J.D. from Boston College Law School. She holds an M.F.A. in art management from Seoul National University and a B.F.A. and B.A., both cum laude, from New York University.
