Biography
  • Advises clients in complex multijurisdictional merger control, foreign direct investment (FDI) and national security, and foreign subsidies (FSR) proceedings in complex cross-border transactions.  
  • Advises clients in behavioural antitrust matters, including abuse of dominance, digital sector investigations, and cartels and other restrictive agreements.

Isabella is an associate in the antitrust & competition practice of the London office.

She advises clients on all aspects of EU and UK competition law, with a focus on multijurisdictional merger control, FDI, and FSR proceedings. She represents clients before the European Commission, UK Competition and Markets Authority and the German Federal Cartel Office. She has acted on high-value transactions across private equity, technology, financial services, healthcare and consumer goods.

Her practice also covers behavioural investigations, competition litigation, market studies and sector inquiries. She has represented clients in matters involving restrictive agreements, Standard Essential Patent licensing, abuse of dominance and digital sector regulation, all with a particular focus on the technology and pharmaceutical sectors.

Prior to joining Akin, Isabella worked as an associate in the Brussels and London offices of another leading international law firm.
