- Advises clients on financial restructuring matters.
Juliana is an associate in the firm’s financial restructuring practice. She advises debtors, creditors and other stakeholders in complex chapter 11 bankruptcy matters and out-of-court restructuring transactions.
Prior to joining Akin, Juliana served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael B. Kaplan and the Honorable Stacey L. Meisel in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. She also worked as an associate at another New York-based firm, where she represented clients in bankruptcy and civil litigation matters.
Juliana earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she served as a counselor for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Advocacy Clinic and was a member of the Appellate Advocacy/Gressman Moot Court Board. Juliana holds a B.A. in political science and leadership from the University of Richmond.
