Biography
- Advises clients on financial restructuring matters.
Justin is an associate in the firm’s financial restructuring practice. He advises both ad hoc and official creditors’ committees, as well as debtors, in complex chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.
Justin previously served as an Akin summer associate. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and B.A. in government from Harvard University.
Representative Work
- American Tire Distributors Inc.: Counsel to an ad hoc group of lenders in the chapter 11 cases of American Tire Distributors Inc. and its affiliates, one of the largest replacement tire distributors in North America, in connection with the sale of substantially all of the company’s assets to a buyer entity formed by the ad hoc group, which reduced the company’s debt by $1.3 billion.
