Katherine is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. She assists clients on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities, and corporate governance.

Prior to joining Akin, she interned with Yum! Brands in Dallas and worked in residential real estate.

Katherine earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law graduating cum laude. She served as an associate managing editor for the International Law Review Association and received the Dean's Scholarship. She holds a B.A. in urban studies with a minor in business from the University of Texas at Austin.
