Kyle advises fund sponsors and institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, university endowments, family offices and other leading investors, on a broad array of complex transactions and investments.

Representing clients on both the sponsor side as well as the investor side of transactions, Kyle has played a key role in numerous high-profile deals on behalf of large institutional investors. He also represents fund sponsors in connection with fund launches and capital raising, seed capital arrangements, manager transactions (including minority stake sales and restructurings) and partnership arrangements among principals.

Kyle delivers bespoke solutions through every stage of the investment lifecycle. He has extensive experience across alternative asset classes, including private equity, venture capital, credit, real estate, infrastructure and a wide variety of liquid strategies.

He has assisted clients on all aspects of their business, from capital raising and fund formation to complex transactions that support their investments and other business strategies. A skillful problem-solver, Kyle enjoys advising clients on novel transactions and structures.

With a cutting-edge practice, Kyle leads the Akin investment management group’s legal tech initiatives and serves as one of the firm’s “AI pathfinders”. Prior to rejoining Akin, Kyle founded and led a software company in the alternative investment space that was acquired by a leading technology provider. Kyle leverages his entrepreneurial background to provide innovative, business-oriented solutions to his clients.
