Lea is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice, advising clients on a broad range of financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, recapitalizations, refinancings and other complex debt financing arrangements.

Prior to joining Akin, Lea was a corporate associate at another global law firm.

Lea received a J.D. from Boston College Law School, where she served as   managing editor of the Intellectual Property and Technology. Lea earned a B.A. in strategic communication, with a minor in professional sales, from Elon University.
