Lois represents noteholders, bondholders and other creditor groups on domestic and cross-border restructurings, insolvencies and special situations. She has a particular focus on advising institutional investors and large groups of par and secondary investors in both the private and public debt markets.

Lois is ranked as a leading restructuring/insolvency lawyer in Chambers UK. Clients describe Lois as “an all-round excellent lawyer with a calm demeanour, even in testing situations.   • Atalian SAS: Counsel to the ad hoc group of bondholders of the French-headquartered services business in connection with its restructuring transactions.
  • Tullow Oil Plc: Counsel to the ad hoc group of bondholders of the UK-headquartered oil exploration company in connection with its consensual A&E transaction.
  • Senior TLB Lenders: Counsel to the lenders in relation to a confidential recapitalisation transaction of a UK leisure business via a consensual debt for equity swap.
  • Parks of Poland: Counsel to the senior lenders in connection with the consensual recapitalisation.
  • Covis Pharma: Counsel to the ad hoc group of first lien lenders, in connection with the out-of-court recapitalisation transaction.
  • Consolis Group: Counsel to Bain Capital in relation to the fully consensual and comprehensive recapitalisation transaction undertaken by the Group.
  • Schoeller Allibert: Counsel to Schoeller Allibert in connection with its consensual recapitalisation transaction.
  • Keter Group: Counsel to PSP as PIK Lender and shareholder in connection with the refinancing of the outdoor storage solutions and furniture group.
  • Vue Cinemas: Counsel to OMERS in relation to the fully consensual restructuring of the cinema group.
  • Lifeways: Counsel to OMERS in relation to the residential care homes business restructure pursuant to a Part 26A restructuring plan.
  • Noble Trading Co: Counsel to the ad hoc group of senior secured bondholders of the Group on a debt-for-equity swap effected pursuant to a security enforcement via a BVI receivership.
  • Premier Oil: Counsel to the ad hoc group of creditors in connection with the merger of Premier Oil with Chrysaor Holdings Limited and the restructuring of Premier Oil’s $2.7 billion of debt pursuant to a Part 26A restructuring plan.
  • Noble Group: Counsel to the ad hoc group of senior creditors on the Group’s new financing and debt-for-equity swap, involving parallel schemes of arrangement in the UK and Bermuda and a “light tough” Bermuda provisional liquidation.
  • Avanti Communications: Counsel to the secured bondholders of the UK-listed satellite operator, in connection with a two-phase financial restructuring, including a debt-for-equity swap implemented pursuant to an English law scheme of arrangement.
  • Iona Energy: Counsel to the company in connection with the financial restructuring and administration of the energy group.
  • Imtech Capital: Counsel to the noteholders on the restructuring and bankruptcy of the Dutch technical services business.
