- Advises clients on white collar defense matters, internal and government-facing investigations, and cross-border and domestic compliance matters.
Madeline's practice focuses on counseling clients through every stage of investigations and enforcement actions brought by the DOJ, SEC, and other government agencies. She also advises clients on enforcement risks and compliance strategies in connection with both domestic and cross-border matters.
Madeline maintains an active pro bono practice, with an emphasis on juvenile justice and criminal defense.
While in law school, Madeline served as executive editor for the American Criminal Law Review and worked as a legal intern in the United States Attorneys’ Offices and the U.S. Department of Justice. Madeline was also a student practitioner in her law school’s Domestic Violence Clinic.
Madeline was a member of Akin’s 2019 summer associate class.
