- Financial Restructuring
Madison is an associate in the firm’s financial restructuring practice. She advises creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders in complex cross – border chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructuring transactions.
In law school, she served as a clinic associate at the SMU W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic, representing children in child welfare cases in Dallas County. She also externed for The Hon. Catharina Haynes in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Madison earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif. She was also a Sumners Scholar and served as lead articles editor for the SMU Law Review Association. She holds a B.A. in international and global studies, history, and French from the University of Arkansas, where she graduated magna cum laude.
