- Advises sellers and buyers on sales and acquisitions of projects in the US.
Mariah is a counsel in the projects & energy transition practice. Mariah advises clients on a variety of project finance and development matters, with a particular focus on, tax equity and tax credit transfer transactions along with project acquisitions and sales. Prior to joining Akin, Mariah was an associate at another global law firm based in Washington, D.C. and Boston, where Mariah represented developers, investors and lenders in complex energy transactions.
Mariah received a J.D., from Boston College Law School, where she served as staff writer and senior editor for the Boston College Law Review and a member of the Latin American Law Students Association. Mariah holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Vanderbilt University.
