Max advises hedge fund managers on all aspects of launching their businesses. He is a leader in negotiating Platform Deals, Seed Deals, Acceleration Deals and SMAs, and in structuring and launching commingled Hedge Funds
With over 20 years of fund structuring and deal experience, he has developed an unparalleled network in the hedge fund industry, including in the Seeder and Allocator communities.
Max is passionate about what he does. He believes that Akin’s Investment Management Group, with its team-based approach, global footprint, transactional focus and cutting-edge use of data, provides great value to fund manager clients.
Max is active in several philanthropic and civic organizations. He also advises a number of hedge fund managers’ private foundations on structuring philanthropic ventures and negotiating major gifts with charities and academic institutions. In the past, he was COO and in-house counsel of a Family Office and Private Foundation. He is also a Co-Founder of the Israel Hedge Funds Association.
