May is an associate in the litigation practice, where she advises clients on a broad range of litigation matters.
May earned her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she was an executive managing editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. She was also a committee co-chair of the Harvard Women’s Law Association and the American Constitution Society. May previously interned with the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Protect Democracy, and the New York State Attorney General’s Office. She holds a B.A. in history from Humboldt State University.
May was a member of Akin’s 2024 summer associate class.
