Biography
- Coordinating, litigation activity for a database of more than 4,000 defendants over the course of a six-year bankruptcy proceeding.
Melodie Young’s current practice focuses on litigation and discovery. Melodie participates in litigation and discovery projects related to regulatory inquiries, internal investigations and bankruptcy matters.
Most recently, Melodie has been engaged since 2013 in a large, complex bankruptcy proceeding of a major media company, working as part of a team engaged in recovery of leveraged buyout transfers and other claims against directors, officers and large shareholders.
Representative Work
- Assisting in major bankruptcy litigation, maintaining a service tracking database of more than 4,000 defendants and their counsel. Handling ongoing coordination service of complaints and filings and coordinating settlements, substitutions and dismissals. Responsible for logging communications with counsel and defendants and organizing a large volume of discovery data.
