Biography
  • Advises clients on financial restructuring matters.

Morgan is an associate in the firm’s financial restructuring practice.  She represents clients in a variety of complex restructuring matters and advises creditors and other stakeholders in chapter 11 proceedings.

Morgan was a summer associate in Akin’s New York office. Prior to joining Akin, Morgan was an Alexander Fellow for the Honorable Pamela K. Chen in the Eastern District of New York, interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and worked  in the Consumer Frauds Bureau of the Office of the New York State Attorney General. Prior to law school, Morgan was an investigative analyst in the Rackets Bureau of the New York County District Attorney’s Office, focusing on, inter alia, digital asset tracing.

Morgan earned a J.D. magna cum laude from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While at Cardozo, she served as a senior articles editor for the Cardozo Law Review. Morgan holds a B.A. cum laude in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in business studies from New York University.
