Biography
  • Represents fund sponsors in connection with the formation and ongoing operation of private investment vehicles.
  • Represents private equity funds and management teams on a range of strategic transactions and investment matters.

Nick Rice focuses on private equity and investment management matters, with a concentration on fund formation and structuring, capital raising, private equity investments, joint ventures, reorganizations and other strategic transactions across a broad range of industries. In addition, he advises investors in connection with their investments in investment funds.

Prior to joining Akin Gump in 2021, Nick was an attorney at a major global law firm.

  • Representing private equity funds, hedge funds and other domestic and offshore private funds pursuing a variety of investment strategies.*
  • Structuring and forming business entities, including corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.*
