- Advises health care and life sciences participants, including hospitals, cancer centers and pharmaceutical and medical device companies, on health care policy and regulatory and enforcement matters.
Olive is an associate in the health care and life sciences practice. She advises clients on a range of regulatory, enforcement and policy matters, including matters involving fraud and abuse laws (federal False Claims Act, Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation of product marketing and promotion. Olive’s experience also includes U.S. customs compliance and regulatory risk mitigation for clients in the health care space.
Olive received her J.D. with highest honors from The George Washington University Law School, where she served as an articles editor for The George Washington Law Review and was a student attorney in the Criminal Appeals & Post‑Conviction Services Clinic. After law school, Olive clerked at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
Olive was a member of Akin’s 2022 summer associate class.
