Paul Dimoh is a member of Akin’s Office of General Counsel, where he delivers legal counsel and strategic advice to firm leadership, business professionals, and personnel around the globe. Drawing on interdisciplinary experience, Paul helps the firm navigate complex reputational, transactional, and regulatory challenges—always with a focus on advancing client objectives.
His portfolio includes negotiating multifaceted agreements, resolving sensitive conflict-of-interest situations, and assisting with the design and implementation of compliance frameworks that align with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. He played a pivotal role in launching and expanding Akin’s ethics team, helping to shape policies and procedures that continue to guide the firm's operations today.
Paul rejoined Akin in 2025 after serving as Corporate Counsel for the 2024 Biden / Harris Presidential Campaign, where he managed the campaign’s corporate legal affairs. In that role, he oversaw corporate governance, IP licensing, contract negotiations, compliance protocols, risk mitigation and ethics practices across a fast-moving, high-stakes national operation.
Paul previously worked as an Associate at another global law firm, where he advised clients on private equity fund formations and investments, mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, and broader corporate law matters. With broad experience, he continues to serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the intersection of law, business, and ethics.
