Rebecca Pearce is a counsel in the firm's Corporate practice. Rebecca's practice focuses on private equity transactions and domestic and cross-border M&A, with particular experience acting for financial sponsors across a broad range of industries including technology, infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and industrials. Her deal experience spans the full transaction lifecycle - from structuring and negotiation through execution and post-closing matters - including management equity arrangements, co-investment structures, bolt-on acquisitions, and exits.
Prior to joining Akin, Rebecca practiced at another major global law firm, where she advised on a broad range of private equity and M&A transactions with a focus on UK and European markets. Rebecca trained at another leading international law firm, where she gained experience across multiple disciplines including corporate M&A, financial services, trade and sanctions, complex commercial litigation, white collar and securities litigation, and intellectual property.
