- Advises U.S. and non-U.S. clients on various international trade law matters, including U.S. customs and import controls.
Becky is an associate in the firm’s international trade practice, where she advises clients on a range of international trade matters related to U.S. customs. Prior to joining Akin, Becky served as an attorney-advisor with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Trade, Regulations and Rulings Directorate, where she provided guidance on complex matters involving intellectual property enforcement along with other classification, valuation and regulatory matters. Becky has served as an administrative law judge intern at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and as a judicial intern at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Becky received her J.D. from Boston College Law School and her B.A. in economics and history from Rice University.
