Reid advises clients on a range of corporate matters, including capital markets transactions, governance and compliance, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and venture investments.

Prior to joining Akin, Reid was an associate at another leading global law firm in New York City, where he advised on strategic transactions. He also served as a legal intern at the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Washington, D.C., and as a paralegal at a New York-based firm.

Reid received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an active member of the Science and Technology Law Review editorial staff. He earned his B.A. in bioethics with a minor in philosophy from Swarthmore College.
