Biography
- Represents global fund sponsors in relation to the establishment and ongoing operation of a wide range of private investment funds.
- An associate in the finance and projects team in the Singapore office of a global law firm prior to joining Akin.
Simrita is an investment management attorney in our Singapore office. Prior to joining Akin, Simrita was a finance associate at a global law firm in Singapore.
Simrita received her LL.M. in international legal studies from New York University and also has a bachelor’s degree in law with First-Class Honours from the National University of Singapore.
Representative Work
- Advised the mandated lead arrangers on the GBP200 million financing in respect of Phase 3A of the Battersea Power Station development.
- Advised the mandated lead arrangers on a portfolio financing structure for the construction and operation of rooftop solar photovoltaic installation projects in Indonesia and Vietnam.
